Fun with Photos!

Zach has a new table and chairs from his Grandma and Grandpa Moloney. I joked that now he can have his friends over for some card games. I was feeling silly one morning and set this scene up! It still makes me giggle to think of it :)

Family Festival!

Two weekends ago we spent the day at the Kingery farm to relax and enjoy some family time. It was a picture perfect day and fun was had by all!

A brief time out for Zach before he is on to the next adventure!

Mommy's little helper

Zach is my little helper. He loves to use the Swiffer and gets it out of the pantry regularly. It entertains him and he dusts at the same time! What a great toy :) I caught him on video using the duster in the hallway. I'm sorry it is sideways. I can't seem to remember to take the video the right way nor do I know how to fix it once I've uploaded it. It will be worth turning your head I promise!

Vacation!

As promised, here are pictures from our vacation to Kentucky. We rented a cabin at Barren River State Park. We also visited with Mike's cousins and met the newest member of the family, Sarah Grace! We had a great time. Enjoy the pictures!

If you look closely, through the trees is the main lodge area of the State Park.

Sarah Grace! What a cutie!

Sarah had to be protected from Zach's love of eye poking!

Mike's cousins Leah & Naomi, Bill (Naomi's husband) and Sarah

We had a great day out on the lake. Here is Zach learning to drive from Grandpa!

Fun at the pool!

Super Zach!

We stopped at Mammoth Cave on our way back home. Zach got a new sweatshirt because mom and dad didn't pack anything warm for him to wear in the cave! oops :) The sweatshirt says 'Wild by Nature' so cute!

Here's one of the few pictures that sort of came out from inside the cave.

We had a great time and hope to head back to Kentucky sometime soon!

A fun-filled Saturday

We have worked out our glitches and just in time to share our photos from this weekend with you! We started our Saturday celebrating Noah Hanson's 5th birthday! We were all invited to the Bounce Zone to play and have fun with Noah. It was a great time!

This was Zach's first adventure in a 'bounce house'. Here I am trying to help him bounce. His look says "you want me to what?" :)

He never quite got into the bouncing, oh but then he saw the slides! Zach knows what to do on a slide! :)

Down he goes...

and ready for another turn!

There were some MUCH bigger slides. We might try those out next time.

Happy Birthday Noah!!

Our next adventure was waiting for us at the Indianapolis Zoo. Mike's company picnic is there every year. This was our first visit to the zoo with Zach. I couldn't wait :)

It was a hot day at the zoo, but the elephants didn't seem to mind. I can honestly say this was the first time I've seen an elephant under water. That's a lot of water :)

We were in time to see some elephants perform some tricks and Zach and I got to pet one! He was all excited about it, then we he actually touched the elephant it seemed to creep him out. I don't blame him, it kind of creeped me out too!

Here the elephant was painting and below she is showing off for the crowd.

Then Zach and I rode the carousel on what else but an elephant! He was loving it for about a minute then started to cry. Really really cry. He wanted off! So I did my best to console him as we went round and round and round waiting for the ride to end! We survived!

Then we saw giraffes having a snack....

And a lion taking a nap.

We also ended up at the sea lions in time to watch their show. I would say this was Zach's favorite part. 'Marcy' put on quite a performance for us. Here she is waving to everyone.

The last stop on our trip was to the White River Gardens which is next to the zoo. This is a picture of the entrace. Its a circular room with a glass domed ceiling and a beautiful 360 degree mural.

Inside they have a butterfly garden. Zach was excited to chase them around and fortunately he never caught one :)

And here we are after a fun, long, hot, crowded day at the zoo! :)

We are all ready to head home for a snack and a nap!
